WA Inclusion Agency Feedback and Complains Procedure

The Inclusion Support Program (ISP) is an Australian Government funded initiative that provides support to Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services to build capacity and capability to include children with additional needs in mainstream services.

In WA the Inclusion Support Program is delivered by Communicare, One Tree and Wanslea, who together have formed a partnership and are contracted by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) to deliver the Inclusion Support Program as the WA Inclusion Agency.

The WA Inclusion Agency (WAIA) recognises the rights of clients to receive a quality service and values the feedback from all stakeholders in the form of compliments, complaints and general feedback.

WAIA is committed to providing excellent customer service and the complaints policy will form part of the continuous improvement strategy that will help WAIA identify areas that need improvement and plan additional strategies to increase the quality of customer service.

An effective complaint handling mechanism will ensure that WAIA responds to feedback in a timely and organised way. Clients will have an effective pathway to report complaints and WAIA staff will have clear procedures in place to ensure that all complaints are dealt with in a consistent and transparent manner. Stakeholders may at any time contact WAIA to offer feedback.

Compliments

Compliments may be made directly to the Inclusion Professional via email, face to face or phone. Stakeholders may also contact coordinators or Program Manager directly or alternatively email or call the WAIA directly through the 1800 number or central email.
All compliments will be registered in the compliments register by the WAIA.

Complaints

When a client or stakeholder would like to submit a complaint they are encouraged to contact WAIA on 1800 119 247 or email info@wainclusionagency.org.au.

The complaint will be acknowledged by WAIA within 48 hours days of receipt and all complaints logged in the WAIA complaints register.

The Inclusion Support Program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment.
