The Autism Association of Western Australia are proud to announce an Innovative Solutions Project aimed at supporting Early Childhood Education and Care services across WA to become Autism Early Childhood Champions.

The program, funded by the Inclusion Support Program has the ability to impact 72 Early Childhood Education and Care Services state wide. The project focuses on furthering inclusion for children with Autism and was developed for Early Childhood Educators, with the intent of highlighting key practices, that will ensure a further inclusive setting within Early Childhood Settings. 

The Autism Association recognises the numerous challenges faced by Educators on a daily basis, but also acknowledges every Educators willingness to truly include every child within their care. This project aims to support the removal of specific inclusion barriers and covers all elements that must be considered when supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder. 
The project has been developed to not only educate but inspires, and promotes continued learning surrounding Autism Spectrum Disorders and inclusion. Educators are encouraged to connect with their Inclusion Professional and send any questions to inclusion@autism.org.au
