Narragunnawali supports school and Early Learning services across Australia to develop environments that foster education and awareness about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their history, culture and contributions to Australian land. It is a free online platform with various resources, information on plans overseen by Reconciliation Australia and more.
Each year Narragunnawali recognises the work being done in Early Childhood with their Award program. This award focusses on a learning services’ ability to encourage reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through their practices and procedures The WA Inclusion Agency (WAIA) is always inspired by these great initiatives and would love to see more of Western Australia represented within these nominations.
